Heather is a gentle and sweet girl, though a little shy when it comes to new people and situations. She’s looking for a patient and loving home where she can gradually build confidence and feel safe with a family that has the time, patience, and understanding to give her the space and encouragement she needs. While she’s still learning to trust, Heather is incredibly affectionate once she gets to know you.
Because of her shy nature, she’d do best in a home with children aged 14 and over, who can respect her need for a quiet environment and allow her to settle at her own pace. Heather is good with other dogs and would really thrive in a home with a confident canine companion who can show her the ropes and help her feel more secure. She hasn’t been cat tested, but we believe she could adapt to living with a cat with proper introductions and patience.
Heather may need a little time to adjust, but once she bonds with you, she will undoubtedly become a loyal and loving companion. If you have the patience and love to give, Heather will return it tenfold.
